  • I really do not like giving a bad review & this review has NO bearing on my doctor but everything to do with a staff member. I have been trying to schedule a surgical procedure for a period of over 2 months. It initially started when I called in early March to schedule my surgery & was told that I would have to wait until November to have surgery. YES, you read this correctly, 9 month wait. Really????? So, I called my doctor directly, & explained my frustration, she explained to me that the type of surgery I was having, the dates filled up quickly & she was putting on more days to accommodate her patients. She then told me that she would have her scheduler call me & put me on the list for Nov with hopes for an earlier surgery date. I did not hear from her staff & called 3 days later after our discussion & then again a week later. Both times I left a message. I called today trying to see the status and as always, was sent into voice mail. I called back immediately, & asked for the supervisor of Luz (surgical scheduler) & that time I was actually connected to Luz! (Funny how that works) Once connected to the scheduler, I expressed my frustration of not being called back, all I got was a defensive, rude & demeaning attitude from Luz. She starts going off that she did not have time to call me back (really, 2 weeks) We continued with a heated conversation only to have to pull out of her what was going on & when the scheduled date was in November. You might want to use this medical facility & the doctors might all be great, BUT BEWARE.... The staff is unprofessional & very rude. As the past reviews point out, there seems to be a problem with some of the staffs abilities, which is very frustrating as a patient. We look to our medical professionals for help & directions, but you will get very little of that from this facility.
