  • Met a group of friends for a birthday dinner. I've been to Leroy Fox's Cotswold location, but this was my first visit to South End. With a group of 14, the wait staff managed to make is feel as if we are the only ones there. The dinner happened to be the same day as National Margarita Day !! The silver fox margarita was on the sweet side, but mellowed out once I added a squeezed lime. I will add that although I didn't taste the tequila in the drink (I'm a tequila snob), I felt it afterwards! Not particularly hungry, I ordered the chicken tenders. I know, I know not the most extravagant item on the menu, but oh well! They were hot and crispy! I added a wee bit of salt and was pleasantly content. The ranch dressing was a prefect pairing. The mustard sauce was a little pungent and took away from the flavor of the chicken tender. Thanks to KTs birthday, a local gent bought us a few shots and beers! It pays to have gorgeous friends! I'll definitely return to both locations and expand my palate.
