| - I first went to Habit Salon back in May for a color correction. I was paired up with Alisha, and honestly, she is the most TALENTED stylist ever and I WILL NEVER LET THAT GIRL OUT OF MY SIGHT! Not only did she fix a horrible orange, uneven, streaky bayalage and cut I had in UNDER 3 hours (that's unheard of -- I thought I was going to be there all day!), but she listened to my goals and provided feedback. I showed her pictures and she asked what I liked most about the picture (i.e. the cut? the highlight placement? the tone? etc.), which I really appreciated!
My sister is a cosmetologist and she always tells me that it's VERY important to 1) not have ridiculous expectations and 2) share WHAT you like about a photo instead of letting the stylist guess. Alisha was incredibly honest about what she could achieve that day and told me that the best results come from the 2nd and 3rd appointment. I know this would probably sound like a sales gimmick to most people, but it's not. I think it's so stupid for people to expect PERFECT hair from their first appointment, especially a color correction. These things take time, and I knew I was going to have to be patient throughout the process. After the first appointment, I almost cried -- my hair was the prettiest I had ever seen it. FINALLY, after countless stylists, I had found the ONE! :D
Anyways, fast-forward a few months, I have been to Alisha 2 more times and I will continue to GO to her! I love, love, love, love that girl and I owe her so much! She has made my hair beautiful every time and this third appointment has been the best appointment by far! The orange was completely eliminated after the first appointment, and since then, I have received the beautiful bronde, bayalaged hair I always wanted! It's now gotten to the point where I sit down in her chair and say, "do whatever will make me pretty, I trust you!" and she does. ;P
Alisha is so kind and funny, I truly enjoy sitting in her chair and getting to know her on a personal level. OH and, I told her I wanted to learn how to create "Habit girl hair" and she tagged me in a video for reference (on her off-hours) and said for me to bring in my curling iron next time so she could teach me (I have a weird curling iron that has a rotating barrel, kind of like the Drybar 3-day bender). How nice is that?!?! Bottom line: Alisha is a rockstar. Habit, you're lucky to have such a talented stylist!
