| - PROS: Delicious, great value for your money (especially for it's location on the Strip)
CONS: Can get busy
During our trip to Vegas a couple weeks ago, my sister-in-law, a Las Vegas local, recommended we try this place for their delicious waffles. She ended up taking my husband and daughter there and both were so pleased with the place that they convinced me to go try it the next day.
We went back on a Friday around 10:00 am and I could tell that the crowd was close on our tails. When we got in line, we were already near the door. (You order at the counter and then they bring the food out to you.) Our family of four ordered a Country Sausage & Egg Sandwich, The Original (Fried Chicken & Waffle Sandwich), a Holy Chicken, a Naked Bruxie Waffle, and a Mint Shake. The sandwiches were much larger and much more filling than I expected. And to top it off, all the food we had was absolutely delicious. The meals even come with a mini bottle of their maple syrup (which I took home with me). The Mint Shake even had REAL mint leaves in it, not just mint flavor added.
As a native of the Bay Area, chicken and waffle joints are commonplace for me. And I've never really cared too much for them. I mean, it's fried chicken. And a waffle. No biggie, right? Then why, after over a week am I still thinking about how Bruxie's waffles have perfectly married the two? Why can I still vividly recall that when I bit into the waffle it delightfully crunched then casually melted in my mouth?
So my sister-in-law had breakfast there today. She sent us photos. And now, I'm looking for an excuse to come back to Vegas to visit family, of course, and to have a waffle while I'm there.
