Overthinking got to me on this one when I first made my reservation. Off the strip, no casino in the lobby..what's Vegas without that?
I must say that all my doubts went out the door within driving through the gated entrance. You felt like a vip within an instant. The gatekeeper had my parking pass ready with my name on it and greeted us warmly.
I was directed to tower 1 where they told me valet would be waiting for me. As I pulled up and checked-in, the smooth transition into my room continued. No lines..no lines..that's hitting the jackpot in Vegas to me.
I had reserved a high floor room with a view towards the strip..honored.
I had reserved with a package code..honored.
The only blunder here was that because it was a holiday weekend, my entrance to Hakkasan was blacked out..but not to worry, I let the concierge know and I was comped with something of equal value :)
35th Floor Room..the dopest security aspect of the hotel is the double locked doors..you have to key into the doors that leads to your room door..it's pretty awesome.
I couldn't have asked for more out of a room. All the usual amenities, the view was great, comfortable bed, the tub had jets...spacious...and most of all CLEAN.
As I said, off the strip but thankfully I was given a room in the first tower meaning the walk to the MGM was a 4-5 minute one via electric walkway which meant 2 minutes of actually walking if you're about the marinating life.
My check out..smooth..again no line.
This hotel is definitely a solid choice if you're more into a personable private experience. The pricing on these rooms is great and I recommend it if you're not into the ruckus of the strip life. The signature is aware of what they don't have and definitely make up with it with their service.
