  • A Safe Haven sales rep came to our door after we just moved in. We listened to his pitch and kept his promo brochure. We did some research online and compared pricing with others. After a couple more phone conversations we decided to go with Safe Haven. Unfortunately, we should have went with our instinct and gone with Cox or directly through ADT. This was a huge mistake. Jay, the rep sold us on the service since we'd get a specified discount off our home owner's insurance with USAA, which would ultimately lower our monthly cost. That is what sold us. Turns out we got a 1% discount off our HOI. Jay said he'd fix it and either through the insurance company or through Safe Haven. Neither happened. I had to call him every week for 2 months. He just gave me the runaround. Finally, he said he'd cut us a check to take care of the difference in HOI discount. I emailed his work email the invoice and the amount. To my surprise someone else emailed back saying that Jay no longer works for Safe Haven. Yet, Jay was still taking my calls and assuring me he'll take care of it. I asked the Safe Haven guy who emailed back, Lance Combs, when he was terminated and asked for answers. He provided no answers and told me to contact Jay directly on his cell phone. So I did, and got no response of course. I'm so done with dealing with these people--so unprofessional, so sketchy, and the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I would strongly advise against Safe Haven. Go with someone you can trust when it comes to your home security.
