  • Tom is awesome. I needed appraisal and re-sizing for two rings - a brand new engagement ring and a diamond ring I had inherited from my late grandmother. Tom got back to me right away when I reached out to him for information, we found a time that was very convenient for me to meet, and he was punctual and very professional. He is also a character, so you'll be entertained while he inspects your jewelry! Tom does appraisals right there with you in the room, but for re-sizing he has to take your jewelry with him (obviously). I didn't realize just how sentimental my rings were until I took them off and left them with him. I was probably that "annoying client" because I emailed him the next day asking for an update. But Tom was incredibly responsive, nice, and compassionate. He put all of my concerns to rest! He got my rings back to me the next day, and his re-sizing work was done with impeccable care. His appraisals are also very detailed, which is great when you are dealing with insurance companies. I am already planning on reaching out to him again because I have a few more pieces that I would like to get appraised. If you want your appraisal done right, you should hire Tom!
