  • Tried Waffles Cafe today and here are the initial impressions. The menu is a little overpriced, but could become a better value if the price of the entree at least included a beverage (coffee). The waffles we received were thin (not Belgian style) leading to my opinion about the price. The decor was very plain and the cafe just didn't feel like something you'd experience in Aliante. This review isn't all "bad" (the waffles were good), but with a little more effort, this place could become a gem and a place we'd want to choose over competitors such as The Original Pancake House (which I'd personally give 5 stars). Lastly- the staff were friendly and welcoming so they had that going for them.
