  • I am originally from Los Angeles and just moved to Nevada so we haven't established a Vet for my dog yet. My dog for some reason started having a terrible diarrhea problem for 5 days and on a Friday evening an hour before VCA was about to close, I walked in hoping they could help. They did not turn us away, but just let me know there would be a wait so they can see the patients with an appointment. I was so thankful. It was so cute how they take a profile picture of him for their records and they send it to you. When the doctor came in she examined him and wasn't able to feel anything that he might have swallowed. She informed me that she would prescribe him 10 days of antibiotics that should help and if not, we can have an xray done. I was nervous about the cost at the end of the appointment, but it was very reasonable. The next day his diarrhea stopped and we also got a check up phone call on my dog to see how he was doing (on a Saturday too). Every single person at the VCA were helpful and nice.
