Located in this hole-in-the-wall restaurant with gaudy yellow and red exterior is some solid food for any time of the day. They serve breakfast all day and cater to the late night crowd. I tried the corned beef and a classic gyro, the gyro at 11pm and the corned beef the next day for lunch.
The gyro was better than expected. The meat was tender and hot with the right amount of salt. The "fixings" added a nice coolness and the bite from the fresh onions was perfect. The onion rings were on the greasy side which may allude to problems with fryer temperature.
The corned beef was also good. The meat was lean and reasonably tender. The cheese added a nice creaminess to the beef, although I would have preferred fresh Swiss as opposed to American Swiss slices. The bread was perfect with a nice buttery taste and a beautiful crunch that added a nice textural component.
Solid restaurant with great servers that are welcoming to everyone. Good choice, especially if you're hungry late at night in Euclid.
