I will not be back. I came in for a gel manicure. The manicure itself was marginal at best, with polish on my skin and my nails filed to uneven shapes. 2 days later, there was a massive chip in my polish. Unable to get anyone on the phone after several attempts and no return call to my voice mail, I walked in. The owner attempted to repair the chip while manicuring another person. She told me I did not know how to care for my nails and had not been careful. This is not true, as I have been getting and maintaining gel manicures (lasting about 3 weeks on average) for a year. She did one coat of polish over it and returned to her other client. She handed me a paper towel and told me to wipe it with alcohol myself because "You know how to do it". I pointed out that it did not look even or nice and she filed it very quickly, not fixing the problem, and told me I should do a better job of being careful with my nails. I left after realizing that the owner was not willing to fix the nail. A gel manicure should not chip after 2 days. A quality manicurist would take the time to repair damage. I would not go there again although it's very close to my office and convenient for a lunch hour manicure. Chipped nails after 48 hours are a bigger inconvenience than going to a quality salon.
