| - I really wanted to enjoy my experience with this place. The two owners were so nice and welcoming. They squeezed me in on a few hours notice which I really appreciated. Too bad this place's downfall was the groomer.
I was bringing in my puppy for her first time. Everything started well, I talked to the groomer for a minute, it was very rushed and in that short time I said what I wanted and she then told me what she had to do, I agreed, said do what you need it's my first time and she whisked my dog away before I could blink.
I came back several hours later and I barely recognized my pup! She was super soft, that's for sure. and her nails had been done, great. That's the extent of the positives. First of all the groomer left her with a weird Mohawk/ uneven patch of hair on her face and head. Then, I had specifically said Dont take off her brow hairs just a trim if you must(this was the ONLY thing I had asked) and of course my pup's brows were totally chopped off. She explained that my dog flinched and she had to take off more than she wanted to. Okay I understand that, but at least make it look decent if it's already messed up! Another thing I noticed a few hours later and can't get passed today 4 days later,.. one ear was obviously done and clipped and the other is untouched, still with its natural tip! What is that!?!?
I won't be returning to this place thanks to Kim the groomer's horrible job.
This is a 6 pound, 6 month old, very manageable dog... I understand I did not have an appointment but I called to ask and could have easily been turned away! I wish I would have known that it was going to be a rushed, poor job! I should have known after the very rushed minute I was allotted to speak to the groomer.
Great job on the unwarranted abstract haircut though Kim.
