  • This place is anything but what we've come to expect from Country Inn and Suites. When we travel we always look for a smoke free and preferably pet free environment. From the time we arrived the front desk help was apathetic. It was bad enough dealing with the drunks at the ball game at Progressive Park. When we got back to our room about 11 PM, we were greeted by an bunch of drunks (12-15) gathered in front of the front door smoking causing my 9 year old daughter to choke and gag as she ran the gauntlet of smoke. I guess that's Ohio for you but you'd think the management would like to uphold the image of Country Inn and Suites as a family friendly place to stay rather than party central. We could hear the people above us stomping around even after midnight. The room was ok and what I generally expect from the Country Inn and Suites but i can't see that lasting long with the clientele they seem to cater to. God only knows what we'll experience in the morning at breakfast. On second thought, we'll be out the door first thing and on our way to Denny's
