Almost everyday, I'll come here for lunch in an effort to avoid the McDonald's vs. Burger King dilemma (eh, neither please.) It's not quite like bringing lunch from home, but close enough that I can pretend. And maybe it's because my home grocery store is price-gouging Metro, but there are some serious deals to be had of you're in on a relatively regular basis - deals I've never seen at another Shoppers (granted, I'm normally just in two others.) Milk is cheaper, cheese goes on sale for $3 a block and they have an extra selection of tchotchkes without the Halloween costumes and excess of holiday cheer.
A star is lost for the limited staff on hand at checkout, especially on the many Senior's Days they hold. Pouting even as I type this. For real.
