Everyone knows that the service dept. at Hendrick Lexus is a "revenue maker" - that free cup of coffee in that service waiting room costs you big bucks. Two service calls back (for a basic oil change/tire rotation) I noticed that HLN started charging me for topping off fluid liquids. I was pretty sure that all was full, but decided to set them up on my next service call. Full fluid levels on all liquids going into the appointment. As sure as the sun shines, the mechanic entered on my oil change ticket that he topped off several different fluid levels and charged me. Don't sign off on your service tickets and hand over the plastic until you have sat there and gone through every itemized line item. This is an easy way to make $10 on every single customer who walks through the door for a routine maintenance service appointment.
