  • I love the penthouse suites at the plaza hotel. They are located on the 20th something floor of the south tower. The hotel itself can use some work, but the penthouse is nice. It is not what you would consider a typical penthouse being as there is no separate bedroom, but still some of the nicest rooms in the Plaza by far. When you walk in there is an armoir with a tv in front of you, to the left is the bed, two the right there is a huge dresser. Just beyond the bed are to sofas and a coffee table. on the way to the bathroom there is a wet bar, high table with high bar chairs. once in the bathroom there is a jacuzzie to your right and a separate shower. Directly in front of you is a door that seems it might be to a closet, but actually it is where the toilet is. The toilet is in a separe area, nice. So I haven't actually stayed at the plaza, but I did check out the room because I was looking for an inexpensive, but nice room for valentine's day. I think if you must stay at the plaza, spend the extra money for the penthouse upgrade.
