  • Honestly, I'm not too big on sweets. I generally prefer savory items to sweets, and like my ice cream more than anything if I were to choose sweets. BUT this is probably one of the most pleasurable dessert/sweets experience I've had in a long long time. Let me start off by saying that I've always wanted to try JinJu chocolates, but never made my way to downtown, so I was pretty excited when JinJu chocolates opened in their new location. I was just planning on trying one of their cakes and a few pieces of chocolate, but going inside, I was already impressed with the amount of selection present. Ranging from bonbons, to nut clusters, to truffles, to cakes, to coffee, the atmosphere and ambience really made a nice impression on me. Not to mention, it smelt heavenly. I ended up leaving with way more chocolate than I had anticipated, but that didn't bother me one bit. The owner, Ms. Jin, made the experience worth it to me. I went in with my girlfriend, who does have a huge sweet tooth, and we were greeted immediately and was asked if this was our first time. We both said yes, and she immediately catered and gave us the attention that makes me wish I could give this place 10 stars. She actually took one of her favorites and popular truffles and just let us try it for free! We were shocked, and the sea salt caramel was absolutely delicious. I'm a rather big foodie and every truffle she described, with the intricate flavors and garnishes or touches she did that made each truffle and chocolate piece unique, you could see how passionate she was. To me, food is an experience and her experience and passion seriously impressed me. I voted for Jinju's chocolates in the Best of Las Vegas contest under the best desserts, and I wish I could give this place more votes. Best means something to me. Not only did JinJu go above and beyond with best in taste, but best in hospitality, experience, and atmosphere. I would recommend everyone to try this place, chocolate is most people's guilty pleasure, and coming here would be anyone's pleasure! Just some things to note: They do AMAZING weekday deals! Every day of the weekday they offer a different discount, ranging from discounts on drinks, 1 dollar truffle tuesdays, and a dollar off their cakes.
