We had a poor experience with VetMed's deceptive practices. They pre-charge $4K and didn't even draw blood until the following day and then they send it to Texas A&M for testing instead of local which takes days. They said the tests would be back the next day and then informed us it's usually more days. They didn't listen or start treatment until we insisted. They try to prolong the treatment so they get all the money they can get from you. The call in folks just say everything is okay and the doctor will call you back. They just need to be honest! They pre-charge in an emergency situation because in the light of day, no one would pay the exorbitant rates! We are all willing to pay to save our pets. Unfortunately, they prey on this fact instead of honest upfront dealings.
