After hours customer service at this location is terrible! I had a flight cancelled yesterday so my entire trip was moved to the right by one day. I was told that now there were no cars available at all. I had no choice but to cancel and go with another rental company. I was told that I'd be charged $150 cancellation fee. I had prepaid $220. This was the "discounted" rate given to employees of my company since we have a major contract with them. After speaking with a manager, she said she'd waive the $150 fee. However, the email I received says otherwise. I am not confident my phone agreement will be honored. I'm certain I will be calling them back in a few days to get this straightened out. I will update my review after I know my card was not charged.
I have since booked with another company that has always provided excellent customer service. I am now being charged only $167 for the SAME vehicle at Enterprise. I should have went with my tried and true car rental company. I will NOT be using Avis again for my personal travel needs and would not recommend to my friends and family.
