This review is pretty much only on the cupcakes-- which are good. I have also had an iced coffee, which was really good.
So, the cupcakes are pretty good with some interesting and fresh flavors. But nothing spectacular and some are too plain. If I had the ambition and time, I could make better cupcakes myself. But they are still good. And still good enough that some of them are worth the 10 mile drive and the price. Good flavors included strawberry (with fresh strawberries), pina colada, and cinnamon bun. But the vanilla, which I expected to be awesome, was so-so and the frosting tasted mostly of food coloring. The red velvet was okay, but I won't get this flavor again. And the coconut was a bland vanilla cupcake with coconut sprinkled on top.
We eat next door at Joe's all the time, so I plan on going back for more coffee and other treats and will revise my review after more tastings...
