  • This review has been a long time coming, but I figured.. no time like the present right? Let me say that I am very picky when it comes to who cuts my hair. The person holding the shears can literally make, or break what you look like to the rest of the world. I started at the American Male Salon North. I knew that I wanted something better than your average, cattle call hair cut, so I took a chance and booked an appointment with Kellee. I chose the full service, as I wanted to experience something that I never had before. I thought, "I'll try something a little different, and splurge a little." I was blown away by the experience. Well, my "splurging a little" has turned into every 3 weeks, for the last year plus. When Kellee moved to the south rainbow location, so did I. She seemed to "get me" right off the bat. Every 3 weeks, I drive clear across town.. sometimes more than 30 minutes one way, to get my hair cut.. because my relationship with the person who literally knows my hair better than I do means the world to me. Over the past year plus, it has gone from going to get my hair cut.. to going to spend a half hour with a friend. Kellee has never been anything less than warm, inviting, funny, and just plain incredible at what she does. I have never actually enjoyed going to a salon for a haircut, because it always just seemed like a chore, another errand to run. But I sincerely look forward to seeing Kellee every 3 weeks. She always knows exactly what to do, and I NEVER have to remind her. As long as she has a pair of shears in her hand, she's the only one I'll ever trust to touch my hair.
