| - My friend Ric told me about this place, although he had never been there. Upon walking through the door, you are greeted by a life-size poster of Guy Fierri (?) and apparently this place made it to Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, one of my favorite shows and I missed this episode! Who has time for TV anyway? I enjoyed the swanky upscale interior design but this also led me to conclude that it would be a pricy experience. I was right. As it is hard to put a price on a great experience, the food was SOOOO good that I would have gladly paid double! I brought my folks with me a couple weeks after my first visit - they loved it too. Among the dishes we enjoyed: Spring rolls (pictured), the specialty Holy Basil Chicken (Thai green chili, Garlic, and Aromatic Basil $11.95), the Tom Ka Gai soup (Traditional spices, chicken, mushrooms, coconut soup) $9.95 ... and, of course, the Thai Iced Tea. On my next visit I want to try the Volcano Wraps (Insane chicken wraps with lemongrass, ginger, and thai chilies. Hot! $7.95), and also the Tom Yum Goong soup (Hot and spicy shrimp with mushrooms and tomatoes - $13.95) and finally, the Mi Dang Dang (Red BBQ pork, Soba noodles, sweet sauce, sprouts, Hard boiled egg - $10.95) but hey, that's on my next visit. Mouth is watering now. The food tastes BETTER than the photos look on their website, which is a mind-blowing paradox. Believe the hype this time, you'll see - just go. This is one of the best restaurants in Phoenix.
