| - My mom still loves to shop here, I still hate it. A couple of days ago, I took her shopping, she bought $150.00 worth of groceries, and I bought one thing for a couple of dollars. We go to leave and there is a line at the door to leave, I go around the line and the old guy at the door tells me I have to show him my receipt. I said "I have it in my hand, but I'm not going to show it to you. Go ahead and call the police." Lots of people don't know that what Walmart is doing is illegal. Fry's Electronics was sued for doing this.
There happened to be a security guard nearby, so he was called over, I told him that if they don't believe that I purchased my item, they can take me in the back and call the police and then we will return everything we bought. The guard told me he had to call the manager, and I told him to go ahead and call, that they had no right to break the law. The guard then told me that it was all okay and I could leave. I hope other people read this and refuse to show their receipts. I mean, I wouldn't even care that much if they matched the receipt with the purchases, but they don't. And if they think my 92 year old mother went and packaged all the groceries herself and was trying to steal it all...well, I don't even know what to say to that.
