  • A one-star review is more than generous. We bank with USAA and they found us a deal for a truck with this dealership. My husband sent an email for information and Kelly was quick to respond. Then, she kept calling asking when we were going to come by. We weren't sure if this was a good thing, but at the time it seemed like it was. When we got there we saw they are remodeling and weren't even sure they were open--except for the giant sign that said "Yes! We're Open!" They had a tent outside set up with several employees sitting around heaters. We finally got to meet Kelly and she was less than personable. She came along on the test-drive but said very little the entire time we were at the dealership. We agreed that this was the truck for us and headed over to the tent to sign papers. We showed them the ad from USAA and they had to change the numbers around. We could tell she wasn't happy about that, but the ad was the whole reason we came in. She went to talk to "him" and came back with nothing better. They have a glass etching "option" that we wanted taken off. They said that it had already been done, but it said "optional" on the paperwork and even when we got to the Financing department, they were slipping up and calling it "optional." The "manager" came out and tried to work something out with us. We were paying cash--a significant amount of it at that--which I'm sure they didn't like, but they didn't have to treat us like we're stupid. We've bought cars before and aren't idiots. The guy came out and tried to make "discounted oil changes and free carwashes to make you feel like a king" sound like the ultimate deal. I wanted to laugh because it sounded ridiculous. Kelly sat there the whole time just kind of looking indifferent. We were left waiting with her for 15 minutes or more and she barely said two words. Also, an employee was shaking the tent and another was sitting there being obnoxious. We were more than ready to get up and leave as this just didn't "feel" right to us, but they finally came back with something decent--I don't think it was, but my husband settled on it and we were ready to get out of there. We're still kicking ourselves for not leaving sooner. Kelly had him sign over his Social Security number, but when he said he doesn't need his credit pulled as we were paying cash, she said it wasn't for that. Rather, it was "due to the 'terrorist act,' we need it." When we finally got back to FInancing--which I'm still confused why it took so long as we paid cash--we found out they'd pulled his credit after saying she wasn't going to. We have good credit and we don't want to have it hurt by constantly having it pulled. The worst was yet to come as the truck wasn't ready to come home yet on the 28th due to a brake issue. We live in Tucson and were told they'd have it delivered to us--a service included in the price from USAA. Well, the next day when we were supposed to hear from Kelly, we didn't. Then, the same thing the next day. And the day after that (which was by then New Years Eve). My husband was told she'd call "in the morning" and wound up having to call her by 6pm each of those days. It sort of just felt like she could have cared less about the sale. Her excuse was always the same "we'll have it to you tomorrow, but I'm having trouble getting someone to go down there with me because of the holiday." Uhm, yeah. It was our holiday too and they ruined it when we had to drive up there to pick up the truck they couldn't deliver as promised. We'll never buy another vehicle here again. ((Edited 1/24/2012))
