In town for a capoeira event. After the festivities we went to this weird food court and we really packed the place but for some reason I got a flash of us waiting in line FOREVER.
Our Mestre rented all of us out of towners a place nearby here and when running errands we spotted this place. It reminds me of a 50s carhop. They're menu is pretty big. I settled on the cheesesteak with cheez-whiz, mushrooms and onions and an order of fried okra.
The service was really quick and the sandwich was HUGE, and they were definitely generous with the fried okra. As soon as they placed it in my grubby little hands one half of the sandwich didn't even make it to my table. I'm prided on an Asian mouth and I was reading some reviews about it being too hot. Some may call it hot and mouth burning, I call it fresh.
And after we all ate our sandwiches, we were the first ones back to the house to shower and even after that, people were still waiting for their food at the other food court!
