  • I was super excited to see Mitchell's opening in Uptown. I've had Mitchell's at many of their other locations and this one does not disappoint! Mitchell's is located behind the new Uptown complex in a remodeled store front of the Triangle apartment complex. This is a great location for an ice cream store. It's close to the big hospitals and CWRU. Students and employees often swing by to grab a scoop of their favorite ice cream! I go to this location several times a month and it's been excellent every time! I tend to try out new flavors each time. As always, you are free to sample any flavor before deciding. I usually just go for a single scoop since that's more than enough for me. My favorite so far is the "blue cosmo". It's a blue cotton candy flavored ice cream. It's a bit on the sweeter side, but it's very creamy with smooth texture. It's not quite like ice cream but it's sweet unlike sherbet. The place also sells ice cream by the pint or quart. You can even order an ice cream cake! The staff at this location has been very nice and helpful. What sets this place apart from other Mitchell's is the ambience. The store feels very chic and modern. The interior is primarily white, but features accented walls with a 3D pattern made up of reclaimed wood. Their furniture set is a table made by APOC with white Emeco Coca-Cola Navy chairs or APOC bench (indoors). This combination is modern but has a nice rustic touch.
