Finally got a chance to visit after Ping Pang Pong's move within Gold Coast. I always thought the food here was good, but my big complaints about the old location were the terrible service and the invasive cigarette smoke that used to get drawn into the old restaurant. The new location of the restaurant seems to have mitigated both problems, as the tables are now set back much further from the casino floor and the better "flow" of the floor layout means that the servers can move around more easily and thus more quickly.
I also thought the servers were friendlier than before, but tough to draw a conclusion from just one visit. I'll update my review after some more visits and if the service remains improved, I think this could be a 5*.
As I mentioned, I always thought the food here was top notch and that hasn't changed. I did try one new dish, the jellyfish and roast duck with asparagus stir-fry in xo sauce, and that was killer. Old staples like the dragon well shrimp, lamb stew hotpot, and XO calamari with lotus root are exactly the same as I remember.
IMO Ping Pang Pong also is the best dim sum place currently open in Vegas.
