  • Hey you! If you're reading this review to make up your mind about coming to visit Montreal I'm here to tell you that you definitely should! Montreal is constantly doing something fun and out there. In the summer we have tons of festivals and free activities and in the winter you can balk at the bipolar weather. Everything is easily accessible (we have a pretty good subway system) but in the summer you can rent a bike from any point in the city. I've only been here for about 8 years and I can honestly say it's been such a weird and crazy journey but I loved it. People are friendly and interesting and you can learn so much just by watching people walk by (also you may get roped into a conversation or two at random times). Downtown is great for shopping, Old Port is gorgeous and the perfect place for a stroll/biking. And the residential neighborhoods are great for losing yourself in food and unique baubles. Speaking of food, we have some AMAZING food (St-viateur bagels, poutine, TA pies, chicken sandwiches, Kem Coba, etc.....the list is extensive) What are you waiting for?? Come visit!
