This past weekend a few friends and I stopped by Crossroads and loved it!
I personally did not get anything to eat or drink, but the people I was with loved what they ordered. They said that their drinks were extremely hot, so be careful that you wait for a jacket and sip slowly.
The seating arrangement and couches in the cafe section were great. There were two couches facing each other with a large cushioned chair flanking them that made for a comfortable and relaxing area to talk and do work. There are also several tables of various sizes in which you can sit, relax and enjoy a good cup of joe.
I thought that the bookstore was the highlight of the shop. The bookstore is large and composed of mostly Christian literature. Being a Biblical Studies major, I thought that the used Christian Academic books were amazing. There must have been a shelf that was 8ft tall and 20 ft long of just used academic books. From concordances, to commentaries to theology books, this place had it all. If I am ever back on the west side of town I will have to make sure to stop in and buy some more books for myself!
With all of that being said, Crossroads Bookstore and Coffee Shop is a true gem of the northwest Valley. If you are ever in the area make sure you check this place out and support this great Christian business!
