Who doesn't love a good a glass of wine paired with aromatic Italian cheeses and local bread on Tuesday!? My first time at this Italian bar / restaurant and I can only think about planning my next visit. My friend and I sat at the bar and the excellent bartender/waiter/cocktail artist made us tasty cocktails and was just the right combination of friendly and cool. It's happy hour Tues-Thurs from 5pm to close so we took advantage of this and got three tapas or "small bites" to share and two drinks each. Crispy pig ears may sound strange to some, but this is probably the star of the appetizers and will have you wondering where those tastebuds have been and ready to order some vino rosso. It was cooked well, crispy, salty, with just the right amount of vinegarette and spicyness for the kick ....delicious. We also ordered the Grana spread and later the straciatella. My favorite was the Grana spread and the buttered and toasted noble bread that it came with. The Parmesan garlic and evoo mix is decadent. Though I wish I would have gotten wine first as t would have gone well with the bread and cheese. Instead I got a Whisky Sour ...not to sweet and nicely presented that I immediately forgot about my pig ears and began to devour my drink. My friend was nice enough to let me sip a bit of her Spanish red though. Needless to say I'll be going back to Crudo and hearing great things about their seafood selection, I can't wait!!
