  • I thought I had a pleasant experience here, until I realized I was blatantly lied to. They were advertising their financing that was 90 days same as cash. It seemed like a great opportunity to update my couch without having to put such a large financial burden all at once. In addition, I was expecting my tax return soon. I reiterated to the salesperson to make sure we were on the same page, "I have 90 days to pay it off with no interest, and THEN they'll start to do payments if I don't?" And I was assured that's how it works, I just had to call the financial company and they'll set it up. The financial company in charge of my "lease" kept telling me they didn't have my information quite yet from The Roomstore. By the time they finally did, almost a month later and way past the opportunity to return the furniture, I'm told a completely different version. The 90 day same as cash is a rushed payment plan that bills biweekly in payments that will pay off the full amount in 90 days. So buyers beware, whether you had plan on taking advantage of a this "great finance deal" or plan on buying with this company at all, just know they will completely lie to you just for a sale. I regret ever stepping foot in this scam shop.
