I love Woodman's.
First of all, I'm the kind of shopper who doesn't stop by for more than 2 things at peak hours. I'll wait until my day off and grocery shop in off hours so the crowds at Woodman's don't bother me.
Second, employee owned. That's awesome.
Third, the prices on most everything rock! Seriously, it doesn't get much more budget friendly than Woodman's. I do 80% or more of our grocery shopping here in bigger, stock-up trips and then pick up hippy dippy stuff I can't find here or restock milk and veggies as needed elsewhere until the next Woodman's run.
So there is that set back: while you can find plenty of items including a variety of brands and import foods and most anything you could want out of the liquor dept, they don't have a very big natural and organic section. There's plenty of organic produce, just not so much packaged hippy options - still when I looked for a natural ketchup, I had to pick between 4 brands so its not exactly sparse either.
