  • The towns soccer fields are all dead grass. (But the big fields used for tournaments etc are all in good shape of course) The playground near the soccer fields needs updating/safety evaluation. There are big drops on the slides to the ground (at least 2.5 feet till your feet touch the ground) and the slides are FAST. Even my 7.5 year old falls sometimes at the end. It's not toddler friendly as the playground is several different levels. It's obvious that it's been neglected over the years and is in serious need of a safety evaluation. I saw the swings were all off on Saturday with caution tape around them. Hopefully they decided to start with some changes. I'm Surprised updates weren't made during the huge renovation last year! The splash pad is awesome though!
