Last winter seemed to last forever, with day after day of cold and snow and grey. There were times when its relentlessness started to feel like a big smothering pressure with a personal vendetta against Cleveland. It was on one particularly bad day I decided to take a coworker's advice and head to the Rockefeller Park greenhouse, and I'm glad I did. I spent over an hour there sitting, thinking, and imagining I was in a tropical paradise.
As others have pointed out, it is a small greenhouse, having only three main rooms (no, the desert room doesn't count!), but there's no admission charge so in terms of satisfaction per dollar the overall value is infinite. It is very much worth going, especially when it's cold and cloudy. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
