  • A new low, even for Giada. I was in Vegas last weekend with a friend who didn't want to miss eating there. She made a reservation for a window table many weeks in advance. The night before our planned dinner, she got a call from the restaurant asking if we planned to spend at least $100 per person because those are "premium" tables. At this point, I would have told them to stick their table but she said yes. So we ate there. Magnificent view, so-so overpriced food. We wound up spending $90 per person. I was afraid they would add $20 to the bill. I DO NOT understand what this place is so popular.
