This place is horrible
The receptionists are not friendly at all and seem to hate their jobs
The dentists seem very unprofessional
I only went here because I had no other option due to U of T student benefits
First of all, when I got my teeth cleaned by Dr. David Cheng
He seemed like he doesn't know what he's doing
He wouldn't suck out my spit so I was forced to swallow them couple of times
which is very unhygienic
He kept talking to other people while cleaning and not focusing on the cleaning
The way he finished seemed like he just finished because the time's up
When I went to dental hygiene in Mississauga the lady there is always nice
and focuses on your cleaning
Also your teeth actually feels completely clean afterwards
Then when I got my last left bottom wisdom teeth pulled by Dr. Edmund Lee recently
This guy was so rude
He numbed my gums three times not even properly looking at them
it took him so many times to pull it out and I was feeling very uncomfortable the entire time
He kept talking with his nurse and not focusing on the extraction
The nurse was watching the tv several times instead of focusing on the extraction
at one point he had to break my tooth because it wasn't coming out and i think he damamged my nerves while doing that because i was in so much pain afterwards even though my gums were still numb
when he yanked out my tooth, it was so uncomfortable and painful that my right side jaw was hurting
afterwards when he was suppose to stitch my gums, Dr. David Cheng came and kept asking him questions
so I was keep bleeding for five minutes because these guys were talking instead of focusing on my stitches
Honestly the only reason I went back to this place is because Dr. Stephanie Chan was so professional when she was removing my right bottom wisdom teeth out
unlike Dr. Lee just yanking my teeth out she cut the root then pulled it out so she doesn't damage my nerves
every time she gave me injections to numb my gum she made sure I wasn't having bad reaction by checking if my toes and fingers still move
she continued to ask and told me what she was doing throughout the extraction
she also gave me specific directions how to take care after the extraction
also prescribed me two different type of pain killers, one disinfecting mouth wash, and disinfecting medicine so my gums does not get infected
I expected same service with the other two dentist and they totally disappointed me
Dr. Lee only prescribed me advil3 painkiller that didn't even work
and gave me no instructions afterwards
he really seemed careless and hates his job
If any UofT students really have to go this place
ask for Dr. Stephanie Chan to get the full proper service
