| - What is more embarrassing than to take a guest to dinner and have it be a disaster? It was my guest's choice to eat here, and I didn't hesitate, as I have had a couple of decent lunches here.
The food was not good. Greasy spring rolls that I could not eat, a flavorless green curry, and my guest's noodles that were glued together in an inseparable ball.
But the service was the worst. I am pretty tolerant of less than spectacular food, but...seriously understaffed. No ice in glasses, No napkins or cutlery until we asked. Server who seemed as if she couldn't wait for us to finish ordering to get on with things. Most embarrassing is that the food was not served to us, but lined up on the opposite edge of the table, so that we had to get out of our chairs to reach it.
Okay for a quick snack, I guess, but for a nice dinner out not the best choice, and it wasn't all that inexpensive. The prices were comparable to the Thai restaurants closer to or on Forbes, but the quality of the experience was far, far down the ladder.
