  • The sign was flashing OPEN. It was 7:45pm. I pulled off the road, parked and walked in. "Sorry, closed at 7." I point silently to the flashing OPEN sign. "Soh sorry." I say "I pulled off the road and came in here because your sign was flashing OPEN." "Soh sorry, come back tomorrow." I sat outside for five minutes, just to see. No one turned the sign off. Now flash-forward two weeks. I drive by the place at 2 in the morning. Guess what? The place is dark (of course) but the sign is flashing OPEN. Now if that's how sloppy this joint is about operating their OPEN sign, just imagine how sloppy they are about more complex tasks - LIKE DOING YOUR NAILS WELL or their sanitary conditions. There's a thousand nail joints in this big lucky city. I wouldn't place any bets on this one.
