Lobby great and a bit misleading as to the rest of the hotel. I was booked in the north tower which I think is the "getto tower". First day of stay there were two elevators servicing the tower, but second day only one worked for the remaining 2 days.
In my room the AC unit barely worked. I mean it would spit out a wee bit of air, but would squeek horribly. I complained and a mechanic came up and said "it is producing cold air" so what is the problem? I said the unit makes a lot of noise and barely works. The mechanic called in help and they "worked on it" while I was gone, but it was the same. I tried switching rooms but the hotel was booked.
Another warning about the hotel in general were the signs placed on Friday and Saturday nights warning that any loud groups etc would be ejected from the hotel.
Well both nites loud groups of peps came stumbling back at 2am.
The hotel is close to the subway and walking distance to the Yonge shopping areas. Good location, but the fact they never fixed the craptastic ac unit in my room and elevator = :(.
