  • So we used to live in Henderson right nearby this casino so it became our go to spot. But it was more than just the convenience of proximity that sold us on it. It was the bartender at the sports book bar, Tyler, who kept us coming back. He is such an incredibly nice person. Yes he is warm and welcoming, but it is more than that. You can tell he is genuinely kind and caring and he is always so helpful and remembers us every time we come in. He talks sports with us, got us turned on to the Round Robin, and makes my Bloody Mary perfectly every time (he understands what "extra spicy" means and doesn't underestimate my ability to handle spice just because I am a white girl lol). Point is, casino management, if you do an employee of the month (or an employee of the year) program, this guy deserves it. Even though we live all the way across town now, we still make the 45 minute drive to come to GVR to place our bets and it is 100% because of him. He is the best bartender in town and, like I said, a really awesome person. I will say too, I was sad today when we came in because he wasn't here, but we had the pleasure of being served by a guy named Tony who is also great! He was friendly and charming and prompt. Also, it didn't hurt that my Bloody Mary turned out nice and spicy :) Thanks Tyler and Tony and GVR. Keep up the good work!!
