  • Came here because of a buy-one dinner plate, get -one free in the enjoyment book. Got 2 Two meat platters, saving 17.99. Got the pulled pork, brisket, pulled chicken, and Carolina pork (pulled pork with some kind of seasoning and coleslaw on top). Decent servings and all were very good, especially the brisket and pulled chicken, which seemed to be all white meat. All the sides were good, we got hush puppies, french fries, and mac & cheese. Service is not the best, the young girls behind the counter seem to forget things with a lot of orders around us, but they were very nice, and offered a 15% off coupon and/or extra food to those orders. It's a counter service establishment, you get your own silverware and fill your own drinks. There were some snobs around us who seemed to be very offended by the fact that they had to get up for boxes! They have specials every day, Mondays it's a percentage off rib dinners: a full slab, (12 bones average) with 2 sides and cornbread is $17.99. It's not the best barbecue I've ever had, but I think it's way better than anything you'll make at home!!!
