I wanted to love this location and experience . The concept of a spa that focuses on pregnant and postpartum women sounds wonderful however I don't believe the execution is there. As someone who has visited multiple spa's and have had the same services at other locations I can positively say this was the least professional/enjoyable massage and facial I have had.
1. The spa vibe is lacking. When looking to relax and unwind the environment In a spa should provide that. The employees were loud, and the retail area which is the entirety of the space doesn't exactly relax you. If they had a separate closed off waiting room this would maybe help the experience.
2.The services: I had a massage and facial. Both which I had 6 months prior at a local hotel spa. The facial felt incomplete and she did barely any extractions. Small things like how she asked questions or moved around the room help add to the zen vibe if done correctly or can be jarring if done abruptly. I experienced the latter. The massage therapist talked constantly throughout my massage. In addition she asked where I would like her to concentrate after telling her where I was feeling sore she proceeded to tell me I had sciatic nerve pain. Without disclosing my occupation on Yelp I work and treat patients with this pain, I felt her diagnosis was unprofessional and out of her scope. It would be nice if they had actual tables made for pregnant women or even nicer tables. I've been to local massage suites that had heated tables or wider tables.
All in all the concept is great, I do hope they pay more attention to quality.
