I really wanted to like this place because my brother was raving about it. We stopped by on a early Friday night and it was already busy. Luckily we didn't have to wait for a table and were seated in a booth close to the entrance. Our server was very nice and friendly, but was a bit slow after we placed our orders and it took her a while to get our check and give it back.
The menu is ridiculously big and when I tried to look it up online it was no where to be found, likely because it would crash the computer trying to download it. We started with the tempura appetizer - the batter wasn't crunchy and onion wasn't included, which I found odd since it's a staple tempura veggie. We each had a spicy tuna hand roll. It had lots of big pieces of tuna but the seaweed wrap wasn't crunchy either. Then we had the hamachi sashimi - the pieces were big and too thick (one of my pet peeves for sashimi). We also split a Monsters Inc roll which was good - soft shell crab with spicy tuna and unagi. Perhaps it's best to stick with rolls here.
