  • I enjoy coming to this location although others are closer. There is a Goodwill down the street a couple blocks away. If I go on Wednesday I can go to Boys & Girls Scouts Thrift store too. I say Wednesday because Boys & Girls Scouts Thrift store is half price on Wednesdays. If you are a thrift store shopper you pick and choose items. Some good and some not so good in each. I have found some great buys at Salvation Army marked down half price. I recently purchased counter stools which would cost me about $100 each for new ones. I paid $20 for both. I previously purchased a couple of stools in good condition, all they needed were new covers. My daughter is using them in her new house. There are overpriced pieces in every thrift store, so pick and choose. I enjoy finding bargains in each one. The important thing is each one of these stores mentioned is a charity. Their purpose is to raise money for their foundations.
