| - I loved this place! The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because the wait time to sit and the wait time for your food are a little out of hand.
*Tip* Before you read the rest: If you're looking to try the Paella, order as soon as your butt hits the chair. It is to die for, BUT you have to wait 45 mins while they wait!
We went to Firefly for Valentine's Day, and it looks like we weren't the only ones that had that idea. We had to wait for about 45 min - 1 hour to be seated. Not bad for a popular restaurant, I guess, but definitely longer than I'm used to. Especially since there was just the two of us, not a large group.
We tried a chorizo plate ( i forgot the name of it :( sorry) It had an over-easy egg on top of chorizo and potatoes. It was warm, and spicy and the runny yolk was just icing on the cake.
I did order the Paella and it came sizzling in a plate. It was the best Paella I've ever tasted, almost worth the wait. It was seasoned just right. I was so full from the other tapas, though, that I ended up just tasting it and taking the rest of it home.
Order the sangria! i got the white sangria. It was white sparkling wine, peaches, grapes, oranges. It was sweet and refreshing and with just the right amount of alcohol to make waiting for my paella bearable...
