We were very excited to try this joint out during our lunch break. Seeing the popularity of this place online, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the parking lot wasn't too packed at 12:30.
Upon walking in, we veered right and strolled through the meats and butcher section. Prices were surprisingly reasonable for a boutique grocery, and my friend was very shocked to see so many Latin American goods.
We were here for the burgers and we all ordered our share. I (amongst with many others) got the lamb burger. I usually like my burgers with all the fixins (cheese, bacon, pickles) but they would've definitely taken away from the fresh flavour of the lamb. The only thing I really missed was the onions - if I had an opportunity to add them, I definitely missed it, to my misfortune.
Food was good for the price, but I was surprisingly not too stuffed after a burger and fries. Oh and the fries - they have great crispy thicc ROSEMARY fries, so definitely opt for those. We'd love to come again someday and get some meat as well - I saw proscuitto for less than $3/100g, which is cheaper than at my loblaws.
