  • Since I am new to the area, I picked my PCP solely based on distance from my home and work. Who wants to take a trek when they are sick, right? Sadly, I might need to after this visit. I don't really want to give this practice a one star review because that implies that there was something gross or unsanitary. The cleanliness and the newness of the practice were truly the only positives that I can give because the care I received was poor. I arrived 15 minutes early with my intake paperwork complete, only to find out that I had to complete additional, redundant paperwork. Okay, fine. Quickly finished the paperwork, and then preceded to watch my scheduled appointment time come and go. Twenty minutes later (mind you, 35 minutes of waiting at this point), one of the nursing staff brought me back, weighed me (with clunky shoes on, so not an accurate read), and plunked me in a room to wait another 15 minutes (getting ridiculous now) for only a different nurse to come out to ask me the same flipping questions that I completed in my paperwork. That nurse then left, and I waited another 15 minutes (anyone notice a trend here?) for the nurse practitioner to complete my physical. And, guess what? The SAME questions yet again! Really, you can't just glance over the paperwork and ask me for any clarifications? Can you predict what happened next? If you guessed that I, yet again, waited another 15 minutes for, yet again, another nurse, you would be correct! My main goal of the appointment was to get a TB skin test for work. I am guessing this nurse wasn't well trained because she seemed to struggle with the idea that I might indeed need a band-aide for my arm that was gushing blood after her crappy placement. So, 80 minutes in total for a basic physical with substandard care. They also apparently overcharged me for my co-pay because I randomly received a check in the mail for overpayment.
