| - Would give negative stars if I could. Do not support a business that treats its customers and employees unfairly. I have several examples of terrible customer service. I'm posting this after I gave the owner multiple chances to make things right and she did nothing! I was scheduled for a massage and a body wrap on the same day. On my way to the spa I got caught in traffic due to a car accident in front of me. I called the spa and informed them I would be late and asked if I should reschedule. The front desk attendant told me to come and if I could make it by half past the hour I could still get both of my services. I ended up making it through the traffic and arrived ahead of schedule at quarter after - 15 minutes before they were expecting me. Again, in person this time, I was told by the front desk that I could still have both services (for which I'd already paid in advance). After changing into my robe and meeting with the massage therapist, I was informed that I'd only receive a massage. No time for the wrap. Of course I was confused because I was assured that I would have both. The masseuse apologized and said it would mess up her schedule and she couldn't believe the front desk would tell me such a thing. As a compromise she said she'd extend my 60 minute massage with a complimentary 30 minutes. She said she cleared it with the front office. So, when I came out to the front desk after my massage and asked to schedule my wrap, I was shocked when they told me the extra extra massage time canceled out my wrap! Keep in mind I had already paid for my wrap! A $155 value!!! This is wrong on so many levels, not to mention 30 minutes of massage is not the same price as a body wrap! I asked to speak to the owner and manager, Eva. She came out and went straight to the computer at the front desk. She did not say hello, apologize, make eye contact, or even acknowledge my existence. She looked at the computer and then instructed the front desk attendant to deduct the cost of the 30 minutes of massage from the masseuse's pay! She never addressed me or asked about my experience or thank me for my patronage. To my disbelief, she walked away as quickly as she had come. I have spent HUNDREDS at her spa!!!! She is so greedy that she would opt to take money from her employees pay rather than asking me what had happened or why I was upset. And the crazy thing is- the front desk who confirmed I could have both services that day and then agreed to the complimentary extended massage took no ownership of the issue even though they admitted they did tell me I could have both services that day. I believe they went back on their world because they are terrified of their boss the owner. I refused to leave until I was reassured that the massage therapist would not lose her pay. They ended up saying she wouldn't and confessed that the owner said that in front of me to make me feel bad to get me to pay for the 30 minutes of massage - even though it was promised as complimentary. Avoid this headache and awful customer service at all costs. The owner only cares about money and not your experience.
