| - I'm sorry, I wasn't going to post this review because the customer service manager contacted me to apologize, and said she'd send a Starbucks gift card. After finding out only $5 was on the gift card, I chuckled and decided to write this review. Nice try, thanks, but no thanks. The day off work, and frustration you caused me was way more than $5 worth.
Booked my move for 6/1/18 between 11am-2pm. 2pm rolls around and haven't heard from anyone. So I call the office, "oh he's 30 mins behind he'll be to you right after." 3, 4, 5 rolls around. Nothing. I kept calling the office every 30 mins btw, to see what was going on. No apologizes, no I'm sorries, nothing. So around 5:15pm someone calls and says "your foreman on the job, just got fired, we hope your lease isn't up today, we can have someone come out tomorrow." Really? I agreed, because no other moving company would be able to come out the next day.
I took Friday 6/1 off to get this move done, and my hourly rate is way more than a $5 Starbucks gift card. Thank God I'm smart enough to book my move a few days in advance, my lease ended a few days later. But really a $5 Starbucks gift card?
Also take note that they don't respond really to reviews on their Yelp. It was between these guys and Umbrella Movers and something that impressed me with Umbrella is that their district manager responds to ALL yelp reviews! These people at Move4Less could care less.
