| - While we were waiting for our theater to open, a server came around asking for drink orders. My boyfriend asked for water, as we had been drinking alcohol all day and needed a reprieve. The girl snottily retorted that they don't serve tap water and that we'd have to buy a bottle. I went to the bar to see if I'd have better luck. Ten minutes passed and I was constantly overlooked in favor of people who had just stepped up. The woman next to me asked for a water and was promptly provided with a glass of ice water, free of charge. When the bartender finally approached me, I too requested water. "I can give you a bottle for $3," she spat. I politely pointed out that the woman next to me had just received water from the tap. She proceeded to continuously repeat her previous statement, saying nothing else, but getting snarkier and ruder every time. I asked why the other woman had received a water. "I can give you a bottle for $3." I returned to my seat and told my boyfriend what had happened. He approached the server and inquired into why someone else had received water and we had not. She continued to insist they didn't give out tap water, even though it had just occured. My boyfriend requested a manager. The server started to get worked up and told him to calm down, even though he had stayed totally cool, calm, and even-toned the whole time. She insisted a manager was not available. We will be filing a formal complaint with this establishment once our vacation is over.
